January 28, 2010 Most people are under the impression that "extract surface curves" is only usable with nurbs surfaces but the is a fix that I ran into the other day and thought it was worth recording and spreading.

January 20, 2010 In this video I explain all the attributes of Maya Fur one by one. I know it is way longer than usual but I havent seen another video like this around and thought it might help many of you.
One thing I forgot to mention is the fact that when applying fur to polygons you must make sure your UVs are final. Once you have fur applied to your poly's you dont want to move the UVs anymore... It will mess things up.. Beware! ;)

January 13, 2010 Often times you copy and paste objects from one instance of Maya to another and you have probably noticed the "Pasted__" prefix on ALL the pasted nodes. With this handy script you can automatically remove this prefix with the click of a button instead of having to rename them by hand.
I use it on a daily basis! Give it try!

A few days ago somebody contacted me via email asking what school they should go to in a specific region. That's when I thought it might be a good idea to add a "maps" section to the site. The idea is that you can search for schools in specific locations which will hopefully make the search less painful, I know I wish I had access to something like this when I was looking for a school!
Check out the maps section and post in the comments any schools that you would recommend to others and I'll update the map. If you would like to collaborate let me know and I give you access to modify it.
